This painting is in memory of the 1940's song "What's Behind The Green Door". It's actually the door on an abandoned Ranch House in Southern Utah and the reference photo was taken Don Davis who lives and rides Mules in Moapa Nevada.
The oil painting itself does not have as much green reflected in the door knob as shown in the photo. It's more of a Brass Color.
